The Philippines is known to be an agricultural country due to its vast land area of 30 million hectares, 47 % of it is composed of agriculture land which is a home for different fruits, vegetables and crop plantation. In line with this, Philippines also produces tones of agricultural waste from different establishments in the daily basis. Hence, government and non-government organizations were helping together in order to managed agricultural waste and turn it into an economic, and sustainable products.
The Philippines is abundant in terms of mango production. According to Philippine Statistic Authority, In April-June 2018 the country produced 528.49 thousand metric tons of mango from different part of the regions. These mangoes were distributed in different business establishments that uses mangoes as their raw materials. However, mango seeds are left and turn into landfills.
