The energy drink was first introduced in Europe and Asia which consumer demanded as dietary supplement that will increase their energy (Reissig and others 2009) whereas in 1962 a Japanese Company name Taisho Pharmaceuticals introduced the first energy drinks which is Lipovitan D. Nowadays, the majority targeted market was at the age of 18-34 years old due to attractiveness of the energy drinks advertisements (Lal 2007). In US their market sales is more than 12.5 billion. Proponets of people with active lifestyle such as college students believe that energy drinks wll help them obtain extra energy, sty awake and boost performance while doing sports. However, energy drink should be banned by government because energy drinks have an increased risk for physical harms which will have serious adverse health effects and also mental problem.
