The problem of debris around the Earth is becoming to be an
international challenge. The space debris can be described as a human-made
material which is appearing in space due to breakups of rockets and satellites.
Disused satellites, remains of rockets and fragments of satellites produced in
a collision or explosion can be also included. (Hasenohr, 2016) The speed of
different space debris pieces can reach 7 kilometres per second. Collision with
even a small fragment can lead to serious damages. Pieces of debris have enough
power to cause a significant harm to the International space station and active
satellites. (Adachi, 2017) If the amount of debris in space will continue to
increase, the risk for future flights will be too enormous for them to be
committed. As a student following a Physics pathway, the use of different
machine technologies based on the implementation of physics laws for describing
possible solutions for this problem, is of interest and relevance. Although
solutions 1 and 3 can be described as a cost-efficient enough to be used, it
will be argued that the use of Laser optical system is more benefit due to the
