Disney Media Network is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. It contains television networks, cable channels and production and distribution companies associated with Disney. The Media Network subsidiary of Disney also manages its joint ventures with Hearst Corporation, A&E Networks, and ESPN Inc.

Studio Entertainment segments are the division of companies which produces live-action and animated motion pictures, television animation programs, musical recordings and live stage plays. Examples of the famous studio entertainment of the Walt Disney Company are Marvel, Pixar, Touchstone Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Group and Walt Disney Theatrical Group. A fun fact shows that, 21% of Disney’s total revenue are actually comes gratitude to their Studio Entertainment.
Marvel was originally founded as a comic studio. It
became famous when the company spread into
new break-up of entertainment including TV shows and movies. Marvel was bought by the Walt Disney Company in the year of 2009. Marvel created well-known superhero comic series and movies such as Spiderman, Ironman, X-Men and Avengers.
Pixar was at first a graphics company but it became
its own company lately. Pixar created special length
films include Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Cars, The
Incredibles, and Brave along with many others.
In 2006, Disney bought Pixar which has grossed over
7.2 billion dollars.
Consumer products are which authorized the Company’s characters and other intellectual property for use in relationship with goods and publications and publish books and magazines.
Disney Store, offering Disney fans and consumers a extraordinary shopping experience. Disney stores originally opened in 1987, this retain chain gives everyone an opportunity to buy originate Disney movies, toys (stuffed animals), clothes, candy and consumer goods like cartoon-themed stationery, note books and water tumblers. Not only they are Disney Stores in the United States but there are also Disney Stores located in Europe and Japan.
Disney Publishing Worldwide (DPW), is the world’s largest publisher of books and magazines especially for children and it reaches families all over the world. DPW’s books, magazines and digital contribution includes movies are all about learning and interesting story telling. Disney Publishing offers learn-to-read and curriculum-based products as well as Disney English.

Theme Parks and Resort
Walt Disney Theme Parks and Resorts, informally known as Disney Parks, was one of The Walt Disney Company’s subsidiary. The company was accountable for the idea formation, building, and managing of Disney theme parks and vacation resorts, as well as a variety of family-oriented breathing space industry. It was founded in 1971, following the opening of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Disneyland, opened July 17, 1955 in California. It is the originally a Disney theme park. By following Walt’s footsteps, it have been over 600 million guests to grace the park that is now two theme parks with three hotels including the Downtown Disney shopping, entertainment and dining district. There are also some theme-based station for guest to enjoy their time such as the Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Toy Story Mania, and also Cars Land, which takes the guests to Radiator Springs to spend time with their favorite Cars characters from the film series!

Walt Disney World, originally opened in 1971. It is one of the last great dreams form the late Walt Disney has become huge success to say the least. Today, Disney World had hosts four theme parks, five golf courses, many dining and retain centers. Like Disneyland, Disney World is also doing a huge development and expansion. Projects includes Fantasyland, an Art of Animation Resort is set to open in phases starting in 2012, and Avatar-themed lands the first is to begin building in the Animal Kingdom in 2013.

Disney Cruise Line, has been up at the top of the list for cruising around the world. Today Disney has three ships which is Disney Wonder (1999), Disney Dream (2011), and Disney Fantasy (2012). Guests of the cruises can sail all over the World, no matter if it is Hawaii, Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera or even Alaska.

There is not only a Disney Park in the United States but they are all around the world. In the 1980s, a Disney theme park opened in Tokyo, Japan. In the 90’s Euro Disneyland, informally known as Disneyland Paris, was opened. Disney has parks all over the world and in 2015, Shanghai Disney Resort is set to open in China.
