• diversity – being similar to equality diversity is how people are different from one another and
makes us all unique to the world.
• equality – is treating everyone with the same respect and not discriminating through age, sex gender
• inclusion – everyone should be included no matter what walk of like they are from e.g.: having a
• discrimination – this is when your treat a person differently because of age, gender or race or any
group that a person belongs rather than assessing peoples strengths and benefits.
01.02 Describe ways in which discrimination may deliberately or inadvertently occur in the work setting
Discrimination may occur in the work place by putting someone’s work down and saying they’re not
good enough, are passed over for promotions or even if they are dismissed because of their age.
Another point of discrimination is not making suitable changes to the work space for employees with a
Disability thus discriminating and excluding people.
